Spacious DIY Livery Stables

Ord Stables has 15 DIY stables, just a short drive from Inverness.

We provide shelter, fresh hay, and water all year round as part of your board payments – including mains powered electric fence. 

We offer individual turnout and plenty of opportunity for exercise in our 20x40m outdoor school, which also features a range of jumps.

As a DIY livery yard, you are responsible for your horse’s welfare. We provide daily access to visit and care for your horse, all year round.

Stunning, safe hacking routes

We’ve identified a number of safe and scenic hacking routes around the local area, many of which completely avoid main roads.

No matter the distance you want to cover, we can advise you on the best spots to take your equine friends for an enjoyable walk through the countryside.
